Planning & implementation of Hyundai office IT infrastructure – Floor 7
From consultancy and the first implementation on floor 7 through to multi-floor infrastructure across floors 2–8 and a fiber optic backbone.

What we did
Consultancy & infrastructure planning
The work started as consultancy for floor 7: network points, cable routes, device placement and rack infrastructure, so data, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control and IP phones would all run on one structure that could be extended.
Structured cabling — 50 Panduit Cat 6 points
Fifty points serving computers, CCTV, enterprise Wi-Fi, access control and IP phones. At the rack every run is terminated to patch panels, labelled and dressed, so tracing and maintenance do not cost hours.
Network & server rack
The rack is the distribution point: patch panel, cable management, PoE switch, router, Yeastar IP PBX, NVR and supporting hardware, arranged so terminations and active kit stay readable as the network grows.
Ruijie routing, switching & enterprise Wi-Fi
Ruijie routers, PoE switches and access points. PoE carries data and power on one run for access points, CCTV and IP phones, with Wi-Fi managed centrally so users move between areas without dropping.
CCTV & access control
Both run on the same network. CCTV covers monitoring, access control governs entry to specific areas, and being IP-based both are managed centrally.
Yeastar IP PBX & IP phones
A Yeastar IP PBX as the telephony core, with IP phones connected over the LAN — no separate voice network to run alongside it.
Wireless link for CCTV in three lifts
A lift car is always moving, so conventional data cable does not suit it. A radio link carries CCTV connectivity from the car to the building network, keeping the cameras online while the lift runs.
Extension across floors 2–8
With floor 7 finished, the work continued in stages across floors 2 to 8 as each area required — one floor became multi-floor IT infrastructure.
Fiber optic backbone between floors
A fiber optic backbone was built as the main path between floors, supporting higher bandwidth and tying each area distribution into one building infrastructure.
Impact
Integrated infrastructure
LAN, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control and IP telephony run on a network planned together rather than bolted on one at a time.
Structured cabling that stays readable
Patch panels, labelling, cable management and the rack make a run easy to identify during maintenance.
Lift CCTV stays connected
The radio link keeps cameras in three lift cars on the building monitoring system.
IP-based communication
Yeastar IP PBX and IP phones integrated with the office network.
Ready to extend
A single-floor implementation grew into floors 2–8, with a fiber optic backbone as the path between them.
